Action for Climate Empowerment in Egypt: Expanding space for Civic Action – Policy-Recommendations by Egyptian Civil Society to the Egyptian and German Governments

Independent actors from Egyptian Civil Society will present joint-recommendations to representatives of the German and Egyptian Governments. The session is jointly organized by Cairo Climate Talks (CCT) and the Friedrich-Ebert Stiftung (FES) Office, Cairo

Our experts are: Haneen Shaheen (Board Member of CAN), Lama El Hatow (Environmental Researcher) and Mohamed Kamal (Co-Director of Greenish).

COP of Implementation: Women-led solutions to Climate Change

The session will present a wide range of concrete women-led solutions for better and more inclusive implementation of climate-action in the COP host country, providing a learning-opportunity for both policy makers and change makers in Egypt and beyond.

Our experts are: Amira Saber (Egyptian Parlamentarian), Manar Ramadan (Co-Founder of Banlastic), Farah Kamel (Managing Partner at Dayma), Ghada Ahmadein (Program Manager at RAED).
