On Friday the 2^nd of September 2022 CCT organized its very first Climate Kids Festival Let’s Green Together in collaboration with the Institut français d’Égypte in Cairo 

Studenta age 10-15 could become Climate Superheros – learning how to protect our planet and why it is important one fact at a time.

11 partnering organizations who are movers and shakers in the Egyptian green ecosystem organized mini-workshops and interactive booths to create hands on learning opportunities for the children. A stamp card attracted the students to visit and listen carefully at each booth to receive their final “climate superhero” medal – made from wood – at the end of the day. Families could join for the grand final with Oscarisma band – playing on partially upcycled instruments.

Students from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, exhibited and explained their upcycled art projects in preparation of this year’s climate conference in Sharm el Sheikh.
