CCT Environmental Journalism Awards 2025

The German Embassy in Cairo is pleased to announce the 2025 CCT Environmental Journalism Awards, recognizing outstanding Egyptian journalism that highlights environmental and climate change issues.

The awards aim to celebrate powerful storytelling, in-depth reporting, and creative media work that raise public awareness and contribute to informed dialogue on climate and environmental challenges in Egypt and beyond.

Egyptian journalists working in print, digital, broadcast, and audio media are invited to submit their work. Eligible entries must have been published in 2025. Coverage of major climate and environmental events is particularly encouraged.

Award Categories

Printed Media: One award for a written journalistic piece

Online Media: One award for a written digital publication

Video / TV: One award for a video or television feature (minimum length: 3 minutes)

Podcast / Radio: One award for an audio feature (minimum length: 3 minutes)
