On Wednesday the 7th of June 2023 the 87th Cairo Climate Talks Powering The Future Through Climate Diplomacy: MENA’s Renewable Energy Transition was held in DAAD Regional Office Cairo in Zamalek, Egypt.

Experts on the panel gathered to discuss the energy transition’s role in the MENA region to keep the 1.5°C path alive. The event was part of the “Diplomacy by Networking” program. A program organized by the German Federal Foreign Office with the main goal to connect young diplomats from all over the world and offer them the chance to improve their professional skills.
