Investing in the youth is critical for shaping our society’s future, therefore having CCT junior events is important for us. The renewable energy sector in Egypt requires continuous improvement and sustainability and to ensure that the younger generation comprehends the significance of renewable energy, mobility, and just transition, the Cairo Climate Talks in partnership with Infinfty Company has organized an interactive workshop for PASCH School students in Alexandria, Egypt. During the workshop, youth got the chance to learn about the basics of renewable energy technology.
Following the workshop, they went on a guided tour in the “Energy Transition Powering Tomorrow” exhibition visiting the Planetarium Science Center, Bibliotheca Alexandrina from the 11th of November to the 1st of December 2023.
This tour provided the students with the opportunity to participate in discussions and interact with exhibits that offer insights into the societal and scientific aspects of a just transition. During the tour, the students witnessed various exhibits that demonstrated the different ways in which renewable energy can be harnessed to power our future. They also explored the various technologies that enable us to achieve sustainable mobility.
