The CCT Environmental Journalism Award encourages Egyptian journalists to report on the environment, climate change and sustainability. We acknowledge that a key factor on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals is the awareness and participation of as many people as possible. Hence, we award those who bring knowledge on climate change to the people, report on successful projects that protect the climate and raise awareness on environmental challenges.
